The Candy Thief! (A bit suspenseful, but thankfully—as always in my books—it all ends well...)
What's it about? Well:
It's autumn. In Sinterklaas's candy factory, everyone is working hard to prepare for the Sinterklaas festivities. Chocolate is melted and poured into molds, the ovens are filled with fragrant speculaas, and sugar is transformed into the most delicious marshmallows and lollipops. Sinterklaas's helpers—along with the Spiekpietjes—work day and night to prepare a bag of sweet treats for all the children around the world. Head Pete keeps a close eye on everything. But what's going on? Candy is disappearing from the candy factory's large pantry? We have a candy thief on our hands!
