Amidst the soft rustling of the grass and the quiet rhythm of farm life, this beautiful Ostheimer cow stands peacefully in the meadow. Watchfully, she keeps an eye on her calf while calmly chewing the cud and enjoying the day. A figure that brings the tranquility, security, and beauty of farm life to life.
With her friendly appearance and soft shapes, this wooden cow invites children to engage in free play full of imagination. Today she stands in the barn, tomorrow she wanders through the meadows, and perhaps she will play the leading role in a self-invented farm story. Precisely because Ostheimer figures do not fill in every detail, there is room for the child's imagination.
Like all Ostheimer figures, this cow is also handcrafted from sustainable wood and carefully finished with child-friendly, transparent paint that lets the natural beauty of the wood show through. Each figure is therefore unique and carries the warmth of genuine craftsmanship.
A timeless play figure that combines beautifully with the other animals from the Ostheimer farm world and can last for generations. For hours of imaginative play, full of little stories that emerge again and again.
About Ostheimer:
Ostheimer is a traditional German toy brand that has been known for generations for its beautiful, handmade wooden figures. The company originated in the 1930s and is inspired by the Waldorf educational philosophy, in which imagination, simplicity, and natural materials are central.
What makes Ostheimer so special is the craftsmanship: each figure is sawed, sanded, and painted by hand in Germany. The soft shapes and warm colors stimulate children's imaginations and invite free play without fixed rules.
The figures are made from sustainable wood such as maple and ash and finished with non-toxic, water-based paint. This makes them not only safe for children, but also a conscious and sustainable choice.
Ostheimer toys are known for their timeless quality: each piece is unique and made to last for years, often even from generation to generation. In a world full of plastic toys, Ostheimer offers a soothing alternative that invites children to create their own fantasy world.
