With its alert posture and friendly appearance, this young calf is ready to discover the world. Close to its mother, it feels safe, but at the same time it looks around curiously at everything happening on the farm. A beautiful play figure that brings the warmth, tranquility and togetherness of farm life to life.
Children can endlessly invent stories in which the calf explores the meadows together with the other farm animals, meets new friends, or happily frolics in the sun. Through the simple, characterful design, Ostheimer deliberately leaves room for the child's imagination. This way, a new adventure is created every day.
About Ostheimer:
Ostheimer is a traditional German toy brand that has been known for generations for its beautiful, handmade wooden figures. The company originated in the 1930s and is inspired by the Waldorf educational philosophy, in which imagination, simplicity and natural materials are central.
What makes Ostheimer so special is the craftsmanship: each figure is sawed, sanded and painted by hand in Germany. The soft shapes and warm colors stimulate children's imagination and invite free play without fixed rules.
The figures are made of sustainable wood such as maple and ash and finished with non-toxic, water-based paint. This makes them not only safe for children, but also a conscious and sustainable choice.
Ostheimer toys are known for their timeless quality: each piece is unique and made to last for years, often even from generation to generation. In a world full of plastic toys, Ostheimer offers a calming alternative that invites children to create their own fantasy world.
